USPS Express comes with a live arrival guarantee as long as the package arrives next day and on the first delivery attempt. Some rural locations, like where I live, receive USPS Express on the 2nd day; please check with your local Post Office to see if you are in the 2nd day delivery zone. If you are in the 2nd day delivery zone, visit with them about calling you as soon as the package arrives so you can pick it up. Every time I had a shipment of fish coming I let my PO know and I often received a call after 4:30 the day after it was shipped. The late arrival to the PO makes for the second day delivery.

We can not be responsible for shipping delays, mishandling of package, mail theft or anything else beyond our control. The live arrival guarantee does NOT apply if the package arrives at your PO on time but you are not home to receive the package at delivery. The live arrival guarantee is also void during the winter months if you do not follow our recommendations for a heat pack in order to save a few bucks and your Betta arrives as a fishsicle. We reserve the right not to ship if the temperatures are dangerously low or dangerously high, but we will try to work within the perimeters of your schedule and preferences. Live arrival guarantee applies to the cost of the fish only. If the betta arrives DOA, please send clear photos of the dead betta in its unopened shipping bag within 6 hours of arrival. If the DOA is confirmed, we will offer to replace your betta or refund the price in full.


Bettas will be shipped in standard USPS Priority mail boxes with a styrofoam lining to insulate the fish. Charges for shipping include the insulated box. Heat packs are and additional $2.00.

5-8 Bettas:
